My opinion:
I advise you not to read my full review, and only the conclusion, if you have not read the previous volume:)
What a pleasure to find Cat! This saga and the heroin-bit reads are a real favorite!

History is a true gem. I do not want to reveal too much, I do not dwell too much on the details of it. This second volume begins
4 years after the first. Cat became an FBI agent in a very special section in search of vampires. She had not entered it voluntarily, so remember the end of Volume 1: she came only to "protect" Bones. However it is not because she left it will never see him again on his way ...

Characters now ...
Cat is always the same, I like it! Courageous, loyal, very funny too.
Bones is still ... bad-bod-sexy lol. I was afraid that softens over time and its "relationship" with Cat, but no, he always has this nasty little side.
The relationship between Bones and Cat's mother is simply hilarious. It was a scene in the book that takes a chapter and that really made me laugh.
I also really liked the team of Cat, "his men" as she says Tate, Dave Cooper and Juan and his boss Don. They really all a little something I like.
It also meets Annette ( it made me laugh lol the plague) and Denise. It must be a few women to balance it out anyway!

This volume is rich in revelations. We finally know more about the father of Cat ( what I wanted to know Volume 1 ) and the nature of our heroine. We also learn more about the organization and the laws vampires and ghouls ( without it being boring ).

In conclusion, I will quickly immerse myself in the third book to find out more. I had a great time, the pages turned themselves. The story is gripping, the characters are excellent, in short, everything is hooked together to make (c) in this series!
